Woohoo, I finished my Embossed Leaves socks! I am very pleased with the results.
I did these toe up and I did the chart as written, so my leaves are going in the opposite direction. I tried flipping the chart but the yarn overs didn't seem to line up correctly and it was just a big yarny mess, so I frogged and re-knit them with the chart as written. And I am very pleased that I did, I am really happy with the results.
I used Panda Wool for these and I am very happy that I did. The shine on these is amazing, it really sparkles. I am a wee bit concerned how long they will last, the yarn seems to break fairly easily (yes, Saylor did chomp through the yarn on sock #1 halfway up the foot) but maybe that is just when there are sharp kitten teeth gnawing into it.
It will be hard to keep these off my feet, they are delicious. And did I mention the stitch pattern is beautiful? I wonder why it is that leaf patterned laces are so interesting to my brain. Maybe it's my childhood in the wilds of Wisconsin.

Those turned out great! I am thinking of frogging my Thelonious and doing these instead since at this point I am hopelessly confuzzed in the pattern (don't put lace patterns done in the round aside for too long!)
Bravo!
I love the socks! And keep the kitten pics coming...
Those are fucking gorgeous! (See? Still trying to up your Blog-raciness rating - aren't I a pal?)
Nice work; that pattern is already on my to-do list - now that I've seen yours, I may have to move it further up in the queue.
Pretty kitty too.
Toe-up? My favorite! They turned out great, congratulations.
Those look great! I think I'm ready to throw everything down and start those.
Your embossed leaves socks are beautiful. Beautiful socks and a beautiful kitten :)
Those socks are fabulous and your photos make it easy to see how pretty that yarn is (which I've got to try someday soon).
Xi Xi looks very content. You must be spoiling her.
I LOVED this pattern. I still have yet to learn how to do socks toe up though. I like how the leaves look going that way too. Very pretty color too. :)
They are beautiful! I love the color as well, though I think I told you that every time I saw them at knitting!
